Day 5 'The Challange': Light Dinner & The Magic of Khichdi

šŸŒ™Ā Here we are—Day 5! šŸŽ‰Ā

Five days in a row of following a routine that honors my body, nourishes my mind, and energizes my spirit.Ā Yeahhhh!!!!!

Ā

I've noticed the portions given are already too much. 🤯 Before, I was scared to follow a diet routine, counting grams of proteins, fat, and carbsĀ šŸ„‘šŸ„©šŸ„¦ because I tried it and it didn't work... šŸ˜“Ā

There was so much calculation and strictness that I gave up after a while šŸ§®āŒ

āŒ... Does it happen to you too? šŸ¤”

Ā

Enough was enough!Ā šŸ™…ā€ā™‚ļøĀ I decided to ditch the confusionĀ and dive deep into food, yoga, and healthy habitsĀ šŸ“ššŸ§˜ā€ā™‚ļøā€”through the wisdom of those who have lived it, mastered it, and embodied wellness.

The best guidanceĀ came from experiential Gurus ✨. Those who have walked the journey of life, refining every aspectĀ of their body, mind, and soul. Their insights light the path toward self-care and deep soul growth. šŸŒæšŸ’«

Ā

After many failed attemptsĀ to strictly follow fitness Regimes, yoga Regime, and diet RegimešŸ“œšŸ’ŖšŸ„—, I finally asked myself—why not chill and see my body as a friend?Ā šŸ¤”šŸ’›

Ā

How would you treat someone delicate, innocent, loving—someone who is always there for you? šŸ¤—āœØ

Ā

"That's how I'm gonna treat my body!"Ā šŸ¤ I thought.

with:

āœ”ļøĀ Nutrition—Giving it the fuel it deserves to moveĀ with strength & vitality šŸ„—šŸƒā€ā™€ļø

āœ”ļøĀ Water—Hydrating every cell so my body functions with ease & flowĀ šŸ’§āœØ

āœ”ļøĀ Movement—Providing flexibility & strength through intentional daily motionĀ šŸ§˜ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ‹ļøā€ā™€ļø

āœ”ļøĀ Breathing—Oiling the trees of life (my lungs!)Ā with deep, nourishing breath šŸŒ³šŸ’Ø

āœ”ļøĀ Mantras—Connecting to the sound of the universe, tuning into my inner rhythm šŸ”ŠšŸŒ™

āœ”ļøĀ Stillness—Offering my soul the Joy it needs to simply beĀ šŸ•ŠļøāœØ

Ā

🌱 A New Approach to Self-Care

Ā

That's how 'The Challenge'Ā was born! šŸš€āœØ It marks the beginning of a tailor-made lifestyle, shaping habits that nurture body, soul, and mind—allowing me to become the strongest, most vibrant version of myself!Ā šŸ’›šŸŒæĀ

Ā

🚶 What My Morning Looked Like

Ā

So today, I followed my morning ritualĀ to get mountain spring water (In Livigno you find this too!)—the purest, most refreshing taste ever!Ā šŸ’§āœØ Then, I took my time walking, fully aware of each step, feeling the rhythm of my movement. How is my body posture while walking?

Then I took the time for šŸ‘£ Barefoot Freedom Meditation—I slipped off my shoes, letting my feet sink into the soft, fresh grass, absorbing the earth’s gentle energy.

ā˜€ļøĀ Sun-Kissed each Moments—as I looked down, my feet appeared brighter than ever, bathed in golden sunlight, surrounded by a sea of yellow and purple wildflowers. šŸ’œšŸŒ¼

Ā

I satĀ and began my upper body joint movementsĀ šŸ‹ļøā€ā™‚ļø. As I walked, I noticed that my muscles around the scapula and the back of my neckĀ tend to lean forward—a subtle but persistent imbalance.

šŸ¤”Ā So how do I strengthen them so they can support the weight properly?Ā

Swami Rama would say, ā€œEasy! Just do Joints and Glands exercises!ā€Ā šŸ§˜ā€ā™‚ļøāœØ

šŸ’Ā Umm...Ā Since triceps, biceps, push-ups, squatsĀ haven’t worked for me so far, why not start with the main joints—like shoulders and hips? šŸ“œ And if everything in Vedic philosophy is circular, what if I apply that principle to movement?

āœ…Ā Yes! Thanks Swami Ji! I found a routine that releases tensionĀ in my neck and upper back, helps me keep my chin high, avoids that habitual forward lean—AND best of all, I can do it every day!

This will be a permanent part of my daily routine. šŸ†

Ā

šŸ½ļøĀ As for my Food routing Today We Keep It Light!

šŸŒ™Ā Tonight, we stay true to the theme—warm, easy-to-digest dinnerĀ that comforts both body and soul. So, for today’s meal, I’m going with...

šŸšĀ The Magic of Khichdi

Khichdi is Ayurveda’s ultimate comfort food—deeply grounding, warm, and nourishing, bringing harmony to digestion and energy.

šŸ’”Ā What Is Khichdi?

āœ”ļøĀ It Balances ALL doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) 🌿

āœ”ļøĀ Gentle on digestion—perfect when the gut needs a reset šŸ”„Ā

āœ”ļøĀ Detoxifying—cleanses without depleting nourishment ✨

āœ”ļøĀ Protein-packed—lentils + rice create a complete amino acid profileĀ šŸ’Ŗ

✨ It’s basically a warm hug in a bowl!

āœ”ļø PittaĀ (Fire & Water) – The strong, passionate leader! If you have sharp focus, a fiery personality, and love spicy food, you likely have Pitta energy! šŸ”„šŸ’›

āœ”ļø Find a quiet space—no distractions, no phone. šŸ“µ
