Five days in a row of following a routine that honors my body, nourishes my mind, and energizes my spirit.Ā Yeahhhh!!!!!

I've noticed the portions given are already too much. 𤯠Before, I was scared to follow a diet routine, counting grams of proteins, fat, and carbsĀ š„š„©š„¦ because I tried it and it didn't work... šĀ
There was so much calculation and strictness that I gave up after a while š§®ā

Enough was enough!Ā š āāļøĀ I decided to ditch the confusionĀ and dive deep into food, yoga, and healthy habitsĀ šš§āāļøāthrough the wisdom of those who have lived it, mastered it, and embodied wellness.

š¶Ā What My Morning Looked LikeĀ

So today, I followed my morning ritualĀ to get mountain spring water (In Livigno you find this too!)āthe purest, most refreshing taste ever!Ā š§āØ Then, I took my time walking, fully aware of each step, feeling the rhythm of my movement. How is my body posture while walking?
Then I took the time for š£ Barefoot Freedom MeditationāI slipped off my shoes, letting my feet sink into the soft, fresh grass, absorbing the earthās gentle energy.
āļøĀ Sun-Kissed each Momentsāas I looked down, my feet appeared brighter than ever, bathed in golden sunlight, surrounded by a sea of yellow and purple wildflowers. šš¼

I satĀ and began my upper body joint movementsĀ šļøāāļø. As I walked, I noticed that my muscles around the scapula and the back of my neckĀ tend to lean forwardāa subtle but persistent imbalance.
š¤Ā So how do I strengthen them so they can support the weight properly?Ā
Swami Rama would say, āEasy! Just do Joints and Glands exercises!āĀ š§āāļøāØ
šĀ Umm...Ā Since triceps, biceps, push-ups, squatsĀ havenāt worked for me so far, why not start with the main jointsālike shoulders and hips? š And if everything in Vedic philosophy is circular, what if I apply that principle to movement?
ā Ā Yes! Thanks Swami Ji! I found a routine that releases tensionĀ in my neck and upper back, helps me keep my chin high, avoids that habitual forward leanāAND best of all, I can do it every day!
This will be a permanent part of my daily routine. š

šæĀ ¼ cup split yellow mung dal ā Gentle on digestionĀ
š„Ā 1 tbsp ghee ā Cooling & nourishingĀ
š±Ā 1 tsp coriander powder ā Balances heatĀ
šĀ ½ tsp turmeric ā Anti-inflammatoryĀ
šĀ ½ tsp fennel seeds ā Cooling & digestiveĀ

How to Make ItĀ
1ļøā£Ā Rinse rice & lentils until water runs clear for three times.Ā
2ļøā£Ā Heat ghee in a potāadd fennel seeds & coriander powder and let them sizzle.Ā
3ļøā£Ā Stir in turmeric & rice-lentil mix, coating everything in golden warmth.Ā
4ļøā£Ā Pour in water, bring to a boil, then simmer for 30-40 minutes until creamy.Ā
5ļøā£Ā Season with salt & garnish with fresh cilantro and lemon.Ā

š„Ā Electric Cooker Hack: Use the stew setting to first sizzle your spices in ghee, then add everything together and cook for 10-12 min.Ā
āØĀ Shortcut: Want all in one? Cook lentils & rice with spices all together.
