💛 Gentle Readers, We Can Make It! Welcome to Day 16 of "The Challenge"! ✨🌿

🌿 "Decide that no matter what happens, you will do what you set out to do. If you are determined, possible distractions will still be there but you will continue on your path and remain undisturbed." Swami Rama dell'Himalaya

💜 🌕Let this affirmation guide you today as we deepen the connection between

yourself, energy, and

moon. 💜🌕

Lately, my journey has taken unexpected turns due to travel (and more to come…), leading to moments of hunger and imbalance. I probably didn’t apply the perfect combination for my body, thinking I could keep switching meals while following the same method. But because my body wasn’t receiving the right nutrients, I ended up eating more than planned.

This experience taught me something profound—regularity and understanding what nourishes us are key to well-being. Keeping our spirits high, adjusting when needed, and continuing the journey with awareness is what truly matters.

So today, we ground ourselves through food—with a delicious dish featuring root vegetables to bring us back to balance.

🍽️ A Taste of Ancient Rome in Every Bite

The Romans were masters of spice, using ingredients not only to enhance flavor but also to symbolize wealth and well-being. Their feasts included bold imports like pepper, cumin, coriander, and saffron, which traveled across continents. These weren’t just culinary delights—they were believed to have medicinal properties, supporting digestion and vitality.

This dish mirrors this ancient tradition, embracing cumin and black pepper as the Romans did. The tangy lemon reflects their use of citrus to balance richness, while parsley and coriander were staples in Roman kitchens.

🍽️ Recipe: A Modern Twist on Roman-Inspired Flavors

✅ Ingredients:

  • 2 medium potatoes, boiled and cubed

  • 1 can of tuna, drained

  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise

  • ½ avocado, mashed

  • ½ tsp lemon juice

  • ¼ tsp cumin (a Roman favorite!)

  • Pinch of black pepper

  • Fresh parsley or coriander, chopped

  • Optional: A dash of saffron for a luxurious Roman touch

✅ Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix the tuna, mayo, mashed avocado, and lemon juice until creamy.

  2. roast the potatoes on the pan if you want them to be little crunchy. Add cumin and roast little longer.

  3. Onced crunchy for your likings, add black pepper, and fresh herbs, stirring well.

  4. Gently fold in the boiled potatoes, in the bowl ensuring they’re coated with the flavorful mixture.

  5. Garnished with extra parsley, and serve.

I recommend following Master Sakalamaa’s guide on YouTube:

🌙 Meditating with the Moon: A Journey Through Ancient Wisdom

The moon has long been a symbol of intuition, transformation, and divine feminine energy. In the Upanishads, it is described as the realm of the mind, guiding souls through cycles of experience and renewal. Just as the moon waxes and wanes, our consciousness expands and contracts, inviting us to embrace change with grace.

I'm new to this journey too, so let's discover it together:

🌕 Srividya & Lunar Energy Srividya deeply embraces lunar cycles, recognizing the moon as Soma, the nectar of bliss.

It represents intuition, wisdom, and the dance between expansion and stillness: a reflection of the divine feminine.

Tonight, let this wisdom guide you into a deep, reflective meditation as you connect with Shakti’s flowing energy.

🌕 Guided Moon Meditation – A Journey into Lunar Energy

1️⃣ Find Your Sacred Space – Sit in a quiet, comfortable spot where you can see the moon. Light a candle or incense to create a serene atmosphere.

2️⃣ Breathe & Center – Close your eyes, inhale deeply, and feel the cool lunar energy surrounding you. Let each breath bring calm.

3️⃣ Visualize the Moon’s Glow – Imagine a radiant silver orb above you, bathing you in shimmering light. This glow is Soma, flowing into your being, soothing your mind and nourishing your soul.

4️⃣ Enter the Moon’s Realm – Picture yourself in a celestial garden, where moonlight dances on sacred lotus ponds. You walk barefoot on soft petals, feeling the energy of the divine feminine embracing you.

5️⃣ Affirmation & Release – Whisper: “I honor the cycles of life. I welcome change with grace. I surrender to the wisdom of the moon.”

6️⃣ Absorb & Reflect – Stay in this peaceful state, letting insights surface. Feel the presence of Tripura Sundari, the goddess of beauty and wisdom, guiding you.

7️⃣ Closing the Meditation – Wiggle your fingers, take a deep breath, and slowly open your eyes. The moon’s energy stays with you, guiding you forward.

🌙 Participate Live! Honor the Moon’s Energy & Connect with Intuition

✍️ Reflection: Notice your emotions before vs. after connecting with the moon. Write your thoughts in your journal:

🌙 Before Meditation: How does the moon’s presence make you feel?

🌕 During Meditation: If the moon could speak, what wisdom would it share tonight?

After Meditation: How can you carry lunar energy into daily life?
