Day 1: 🍽️ Let’s Begin! Fuel Your Body & Balance Your Life (In Just 21 Days)

Updated: Jun 22

🍲 Nutrition: Protein-packed dal (lentils, mung beans)

🔥 Ayurveda Element: Kapalabhati breath (for energy boost!)

✍️ Reflection: What sensations do I feel after activating my breath?

Welcome to Day 1 of "The Challenge"!

🌿 “Each breath is a beginning. I honor my body with mindful choices, and today, I plant the seeds of lifelong balance.” ✨

💜 🔥Even as the winds of change rise, I root deeper into my intention.

I surrender the outcome, but not the commitment.

My Sankalpa (will power) is my compass:

unshakable,

luminous,

aligned with the Self.💜🔥

Dear Gentle Seekers,

Today marks the beginning of a 21-day challenge rooted in balance, nourishment, and the quiet strength of consistency.

💫 We all long for vitality and ease, but the ever-shifting rhythm of life: routines, climates, cultures, responsibilities, can pull us off-centre.

This isn’t just a challenge. It’s an invitation to belong to something deeper.

🌍 Whether you're grounded at home or flowing through the world, you can carry these practices with you.

Simple.

Adaptable.

Transformative.

💞 Why This Matters?

This is more than a personal intention. It’s a ripple of inspiration. A space for growth, together.

Your presence amplifies the power of this path.

Together, we rise.

Together, we sustain.

Together, we transform.

🚀 Are You In?

Let’s begin step by step.

Consistency over perfection.

Community over isolation.

Lightness over pressure.

Ready to walk this path together?

Do you ever feel like you want to be healthy, but it’s hard to keep up with the right food, the right exercises, the right routine, the right digestion, the right breathing, the right way to live your best and healthiest life?

Well... I’m in this situation right now! And I want to find a way that truly works!

Something easy, sustainable, and that I can turn into a lifestyle, no matter where I am.

Whether I’m in London, Puglia, or the Alps at 1816m above sea level, I need an anchor—something that keeps me balanced in any environment, with any routine, no matter how life changes around me.

🌍 If you’ve travelled, you know that in the place you find yourself for days, weeks or months, food, weather and culture change all the time. If you want to have a pleasant stay, Adapting is key, but in the process, our body and mind go through change. Everything is unknown.... By experience, I've noticed that if there is no anchor while waters are moving, I am drifting with the waves of change and I struggle to keep my centre where discipline combined with flexibility keep me in calm and crystal clear waters...

Consistency is the challenge.

But instead of fighting it, let’s use social power to inspire and support each other,

starting with daily basics and building a stronger, healthier version of ourselves!

Let’s Start Very, Very, Very, Very Simple!

Think about it:

✔ You EAT every day.

✔ You BREATHE every second.

✔ You MOVE most of the time.

So let’s focus on what we already do every single day!

📅 The 21-Day Challenge Food: Ayurveda & Nutrition for Balance

🌱 FOOD: Using a nutritionist-approved meal plan, I’ll add Ayurvedic knowledge for high Pitta, creating recipes with carefully selected spices to balance doshas.

🏋️ EXERCISE: Instead of exhausting workouts, I’ll simplify movement by focusing on joint rotation, like Sanket Ji, a great yoga teacher I had, said:

👉"Ponder - where does the movement come from?"

So why not start with very very simple rotation of arms and legs at the hip?

Shoulders drive arm movements; hips control the legs.

So I’ll start with gentle rotations at the core joints.

🌬 BREATHING: Inspired by Swami Rama of the Himalayas, I’ll practice breath coordination because breathing influences thinking, which influences reasoning and actions.

🌊 When breath and mind work together, life supports your goals effortlessly!

For this 21 days challange centered around the body and nutrition discipline

🎯 Your Daily Formula for "The Challenge Body" is:

1 Nutritionist-approved meal with an Ayurvedic twist

 ✔ 1 Ayurvedic habit

1 Reflection practice

🎯 Each Week Has a Theme:

Week 1: Awareness & Cleansing – Light digestion, clearing mental fog, breath awareness

Week 2: Energy & Balance – Dosha-aligned spices, movement, resilience

Week 3: Sustainability & Reward – Lasting habits, gratitude, celebrating progress

📅 How Long?

For 21 days, we’ll explore balanced food, small daily wins, and simple Ayurvedic tweaks, paired with a nutritionist-approved meal plan.

📅 Is This Personalised?

Yes, I always recommend connecting with a nutritionist if you can.

It’s a beautiful way to understand what your unique body truly needs.

From there, this 21-day journey becomes even more powerful, as you can gently weave in ingredients and practices that truly resonate with you.

But if seeing a specialist isn’t possible right now, don’t worry at all. The recipes and rituals in this challenge are designed to be nurturing, grounding, and adaptable. You can explore them intuitively, listening to your own body and making the space to feel what supports you best.

Let it be light. Let it unfold. 🌿

🥗 Proteins, carbs, and fats exist in common foods like bread, cereal, meat, fish, vegetables, and fruit

But it’s all about how we combine them and stay consistent!

✨ This journey is about healthy eating combination, self-control, and BONUS: Great Taste!

🎁 The Reward!

At Day 21, celebrate with a wellness treat.

A massage, a special dinner, new wellness gear, or a personalised self-care ritual to mark your transformation!

🥗 Nutrition – What I Ate Tonight

🥘 Stufato Ayurvedico di Manzo con Zucchine (Pitta-Friendly)

🌿 Ingredienti – Stufato Ayurvedico Pitta-Friendly

Coriandolo in polvere (½ cucchiaino)

Zenzero fresco grattugiato (facoltativo)

  2. (Opzionale) Aggiungi un po’ di zenzero grattugiato.

➤ Subito dopo, versa la carne e rosola delicatamente finché cambia colore.

  3. Aggiungi:

    Curcuma

    Coriandolo in polvere

  6. Spegni il fuoco, aggiungi:

    • Qualche goccia di succo di lime (a crudo)

Prezzemolo fresco o coriandolo fresco per guarnire.

Benefici Ayurvedici:

🌿 Ayurveda Element – Tongue Scraping

Copper Tongue Scraper
Copper Tongue Scraper

🌟 The Simple Detox Ritual Tongue scraping clears toxins, improves digestions, and boosts fresh breath. It removes ama (undigested toxins) that build up overnight.

I personally use the wooden toungue scraper, and everytime I use it, it does just wonders for my mouth!

If you want fresh breath, you could check how your intestine works. Constipation in the West is more common than we think! I hear—even from professionals sometimes—that it's normal to retain the stool for a few days (and maybe it is). But deep down, we all know: one of the best feelings in the world is when we finally let go. We feel light, clear, happy. Mind and body—suddenly working without tension.

When our digestion gets stuck, though, we start feeling low, agitated, nervous, or even a bit lost. So let me share with you a secret that India taught me...

🌿 Psyllium is a natural fiber that comes from the seeds of different Plantago species (like Plantago ovata). It’s mainly used for its husk or seed bran, which is rich in soluble fiber. When mixed with liquid, psyllium forms a soft, soothing gel in the gut—composed mostly of polysaccharides.

This gel increases the bulk of the stool and gently supports elimination, making it helpful in preventing constipation. But there’s more: psyllium also helps bind ingredients in recipes and adds a beautiful softness to gluten-free baking.

Now, I saw that pharmacies are selling this natural fibre and I tried it, however it didn't have the effect as the natural Psyllium I buy from India.
